How to Appear in Google AI Overviews in Hebrew
Last updated:
A practical guide: what Google looks for in a page to show it in the AI answer, how to build such a page, and how to check whether it worked.
The Short Answer
There is no sign-up button. According to Google, to appear as a supporting link in AI Overviews a page must be indexed and eligible to appear in Search with a snippet, with no additional technical requirements. Even then there is no guarantee. The work is to build a page that answers one question directly, with a structure from which an answer can be extracted.
Page Structure
One question per page. A short answer in the first paragraph. After it, an explanation, a list of conditions or steps, and real FAQs. One H1 heading, a clear description and a valid canonical URL.
Structured Data
Google states that no special markup is required to appear in AI Overviews. Valid Schema markup still helps identify the page type, provided everything marked up also appears to the visitor and is true.
Credibility
State who wrote the content, when it was updated, and what the sources are. Add real data or experience from the business. Do not write a claim you cannot verify.
How to Check
Search the question on Google in Hebrew and see whether an AI summary appears and which sources it uses. Measure regularly and save the results, because results vary between searches. If you are not shown, check which pages are cited and what their structure looks like.
